Your experience here will be what you make it. Many students find the freedom and nearly unlimited options at college can make these years some of life's very best! Campus Ambassadors (CA) is the college ministry of Missions Door on secular campuses across the nation. CA is committed to making your college years count toward something even more than a degree. We are here to help you find a place to belong at OSU.
Ministry Commitments
Individually and corporately, we are committed to:
Growth: Each one faithfully pursuing personal time with God and regular fellowship time together one-on-one, in small groups, and in large groups.
Service: Each one maturing in an area of responsibility or service.
Outreach: Each one influencing others with the love of Christ.
Our Distinctives
Our ministry is defined by Biblical righteousness, Lordship (relational) evangelism, Leadership development, and Church relationship. We are a campus-centered, student-led, church-related, ministry-driven, diversity-focused ministry to collegians.
Fellowship
The heart of our ministry is our midweek fellowship meeting, which we call ``CA'' for short. We meet every Thursday from 7:30 - 9:15 PM at First Baptist Church at the corner of 9th and Monroe (Enter on 9th Street, across from Varsity House). This is a great place to plug into Campus Ambassadors, make new friends, and grow in your faith. Enjoy an evening of upbeat worship, warm fellowship, and Biblical teaching that makes sense... and of course, refreshments are served! You can also join the prayer meeting that starts at 7:00 PM.
We would love to have you join us Thursday nights and bring a friend. As always, everyone is welcome!
